Yep...

Greg and I gathered 6 bags of clothing, toys and other things (including 2 scrabble games)as well as $60.00 worth of supplies on the "needed list" and donated to Salvation Army yesterday. The items we donated are going less than an hour away to a Fort in Arkansas housing more than 7,000 survivors of Katrina. There are also refugees in our own town.

As a very sensitive and impassioned person who is usually ignorant to current events and apathetic to politics, I find myself feeling very disillusioned and moved with the past week's events.
